At this time of national crisis, Grayson Perry sets out to bring the nation together through art. Every week, the Turner Prize-winning artist hosts the show from his studio, where he creates new pieces, leads masterclasses and finds out how other artists, creatives and celebrities have been spending their time in isolation. He also encourages artists and viewers alike to produce visual representations of this unique time, at the end of which he plans to display the art in an exhibition chronicling the changing moods of Britain in isolation.

The theme for the opening edition is portraits of a family member or housemate, with comedian Joe Lycett showing off one he has painted.

Grayson asks people to send in their artworks of animals - whether it be a beloved pet, an abstract or an exotic creature.. Hosting from his art studio, he is joined by Harry Hill and artist Maggi Hambling as he teaches new skills and sees what people have made in isolation.

Grayson speaks to members of the public about their ideas and actress Jessica Hynes revealing the inspiration behind her design. Sculptor and Angel of the North creator Antony Gormley shares his artistic insights.

Grayson speaks to members of the public about what they can see from their homes. He is also joined by Jim Moir, aka comedian, artist, actor and TV presenter Vic Reeves, who shares his artistic impression of the view from his window, while artist Jeremy Deller reveals what he has been inspired by during this most unusual time.

Grayson speaks to members of the public about their creations, while comedian Jenny Eclair reveals shares her artistic impression of domesticity. Grayson also chats to a leading British artist about what they have been creating in lockdown.

The theme this week is Britain and what that means to viewers and artists, with Grayson chatting to actress and broadcaster Liza Tarbuck about her own creation. Artists the Singh Twins discuss their lockdown art and photographer Martin Parr shares his isolation work.
