[edit] Information
Where to Invade Next In spite of its title, this is Michael Moore in less stridently polemical mood than in many of his earlier, angrier, documentaries. It’s a surprisingly charming and playful affair but one that asks plenty of provocative questions. Moore starts from the premise that America’s military and political leaders have lost their way (“we don’t know what the f**k we are doing”), and have called him into help. Where To Invade Next makes consistently entertaining viewing and again demonstrates Moore’s knack of dealing with complex issues in a folksy and populist style. Whether it’s a movie to see in cinemas is another question. In terms of its production values and approach, it often seems more like a TV documentary than a film made for the big screen.
